weekend edition

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween weekend!!

Mine started out with the Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion event at the Petersen Automotive Museum on Thursday night. The show featured 5 up-and-coming clothing designers and 4 accessory designers.

Here I am in my prized vintage DVF plaid skirt (not the best picture, but you get the idea).

Valerj Pobega was my favorite designer with beautiful silk fabrics, kimonos, converse and bridled models.

I also loved Leyendecker's tribal feel and braids galore.

We went to see Paranormal Activity on Halloween for a good scare, but had to walk out in the middle. The home video camera work made me really nauseous & I had to watch (listen) with my eyes closed to keep from getting sick. I hope watching on a smaller screen when it comes out on dvd will be easier on the equilibrium. From what we saw, it was really good.

Missy Foo's weekend was filled with long naps in the sun, greeting all 6 of the tick-or-treaters we had at the door, doing voice recordings for Pipo's latest mix (seriously, this was hilarious), and lots of treats.

She wasn't up for having her photo taken because she was worried about her eyes looking puffy after a late night of playing with her new catnip cow the night before. But, even the curtain can't hide her cuteness.
