travel journal...arkansas

I wasn't as good about taking photos this time as I was last trip, but that was because Mamaw & I were too busy having fun.
We made our spaghetti, watched movies, went to the museum, visited family, shopped, read poetry, and found treasures in the used bookstore.
And, it snowed!
A light dusting that made everything look pretty, but didn't stop us from gallivanting around town.

Here we are at the Proof Positive print exhibit in Bentonville, AR.

And, at the Fayetteville Public Library, a staple in our itinerary.

The Pasture
by Robert Frost

I'm going out to clean the pasture spring;
I'll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
I sha'nt be gone long, - You come too.

I'm going out to fetch the little calf
That's standing by the mother. It's so young,
It totters when she licks it with her tongue.
I sha'nt be gone long. - You come too.

Merci, Mamaw. Merci!
