After a 4-year absence from Bryant Park, the designs of Wendy Mullin of Built by Wendy will be back on the runway next week for Fall 2008 Fashion Week. Founded in 1991, she gained popularity with her cool & colorful guitar straps and the success of her clothing line soon followed. She also wrote Sew U, the modern person's guide to sewing & creates patterns for Simplicity Pattern Co. called "Built by You". All in all, she's one cool chick & her designs are equally as cool. I can't wait to see what she sends down the runway for fall.
